Cameroon 0 - 1 Gabon
African Nations Cup 2010 group stage · 2010-01-13 Referee: Daniel Bennett

another one

stalling

And that was good because this was a pretty one sided match, with Cameroon attacking and Gabon stalling.
Bennett stayed cool, he wasn"t always right, but he stayed cool. One moment he even had two injured (or fake injured) Gabon players carried off the field. And he added 6 minutes extra time. Spot on.

positioning

I was wondering about his positioning though, sometimes he was far off, anticipating on a team"s attack, sometimes he was caught standing too close, like a defender for the other team.

hah!

hah again! (see Fernado's report) another team with more or less famous players not being able to find it"s way to a goal. Was there any plan in the Cameroon play? Any wingers? Crosses and headers? Shots from far (would have ben a good idea since the Benin goalie acted a bit weird sometimes), counter attacks? Any ideas how to execute corner shots or free kicks, where to stand? What are they doing here in this tournament? Didn"t they practice?

uhm

Isn't Daniel Bennett too heavy? Fat even?
