Good about Fandel was that he showed that there would be no way he would tolerate any diving or trickery. Inzaghi only once held his face to show the world he had been hit but Fandel didn't even acknoledge it. Average was almost everything else he did. Not bad at all, but also not really very good. Benites waited till the 77th minute to substite a defender for his (best?) forward Crouch. Only then did Liverpool score a goal, way too late. Liverpool lost because of Benites.
