Cleaning up those bad memories

Great job in a cold night

It´s true: there weren´t many controversial actions during the game. In part, because the players intended to play and decided to leave excessive fouling or tricking outside the field (except for the winner team´s normal tendence to lose time). But also because the referee showed from the 1st minute that he was going to pay much attention to everything that could happen. The referee was always near the actions, well located, he tried to use the advantage (only once he needlesly cut the game), he didn´t decide silly booking but correctly showed a couple of yellows when it was necessary... It was clear that Pezzotta was feeling confortable doing his job, using his experience and without being influenced by the strong pressure down from the stands by Chilean fans. Another nice thing: linemen also had a very good night, doing it right in two or three "thin" off-side situations.

Good game

The game was really fun and exciting. Chivas de Guadalajara will play the Copa Libertadores final against the winner of the Brazilian semi to be played in two days between Sao Paulo and Internacional.
