Maybe

Archunida

First that I mention that his foul detection is one of the best on WC, but his disciplinary sanctions was at least not good. Benito had foul control of the match and he showed most of the cards properly, but he had to show at least two red. In first half we saw really battle field with lot's of brutality , dives, unsporting behavior and in second half almost friendly match. How Archunida managed all that? He try not to whistle every contact, so he let to game follow. But when start roughness, Benito in 30 minutes from fifteen to end of the half time he showed seven yellows, but any red and he had to Filipe Melo and Pepe. First Melo almost punch Pepe with high kick, then Pepe bring back to Melo and to ended this small war Melo committed hard challenge on Pepe. Archundia show both player yellows, but he had to prevent this thing when Melo committed first rough foul and show him yellow. For this things referees had to prepare before the match and they had to know which players are incident once. Referees also had to know that C.Ronaldo is one of the most fastest player. Juan played a handball on forty meters from goal , and if he didn't play a ball would be in goal scoring opportunity. Now question is it promising , so yellow card, or obvious , and in that case red. Archundia thought that was promising and most commentators have same opinion, but I would show red to Juan, for the reason of Ronaldo speed and any other Brazilian player in that situation couldn't reached him. In second half assistant missed one offside for Portugal in good position, but that was only assistants mistake. Also Portuguese asked for penalty in last minute after Lucio handball, but in this situation Archundia had right because Lucio had no intention t play a ball.

Match

not a match of good football as expected and both teams were happy with one point which secure them places in last sixteen.
