Baldassi did all he could to keep the game flowing. And because the Dutch were clearly the more positive players, it seemed at times like Baldassi was favouring the orange team. In van Persie's case he may have even been a bit too forgiving. The Dutch striker had a tendency of flailing his arms and legs about when falling. At one time he kicked Yuichi Komano full on the chin without so much as a warning from Baldassi.
This aside Baldassi had another fine match here. He has a calm and fatherly style that goes down well with the players. At times he reminded me of Monsieur Hulot. But that may be just me.
