Off side goal

Off-side? I recorded the match and saw it two hours later and replayed both goals a couple of times: okay, first goal was off-side. The assistant wasn't looking and ran a couple of yards behind the first players, he was simply too slow. But what do we like more: an assistant who always flags because he is afraid, or one who dares not to flag when he isn't sure.

But what a boring match again. For both teams this was the match to win. Especially for the Slovaks. They scored and then thought that that would be enough. Possibly their best player and certainly the most aggressive attacker, Miroslav Stoch, had to sit on the bench until it was too late. A draw very likely means both teams go home. Better to go all out, but the Slovak coach was too chicken.
