With the Argentinian goal, it´s true that Samuel was holding a Nigerian player and allowing Heinze to shoot. It was a foul. The problem is that if the referee never whistles against that kind of action inside the area, he can´t do it in a particular situation. It´s a matter of justice.
It was not a brilliant performance by Argentina. The Maradona team just won and not much more. But it was a deserved victory, because Argentina had 3 or 4 additional goal situations that were aborted by the very good Nigerian goalkeeper. Messi showed part of his skills. We´d like to see more from Higuaín, Tevez, Di María, Milito.... Nigeria also had its opportunities, but could´t balance the score.
