Kamikawa is a referee who dares to wait before stopping the game. He doesn't argue with the players and he did the only thing a referee can do when the Portugese national team plays: ignore Christiano Ronaldo. Even the Germans ignored him, they gave him lots of room to show off his tricks, waited paitiently for the ubiquitous dive and played on. They had a match to win. The other Portugese players behaved themselves, even showed the world they can realy play, most of the time they were better than the Germans. Even the Portugese coach was clever enough to finally add a real striker, hence their one goal.
The match wasn't that great, understadable since it was between two teams that didn't make it. The fact that Bastian Schweinsteiger scored three times (once via Portugese defender Petit) with his right foot coming from the left, should tell all the other coaches something about being less fundamentalistic about the right place of the players in the field.
