Ghana 0 - 1 Egypt
African Nations Cup 2010 final · 2010-01-31 Referee: Koman Coulibaly

the Coulibaly style (again)

positioning

Even on my giant Sony plasma tv i hardly saw Coulibaly. The Malinese already on his way far on the other half. Far off, letting his assistants taking care of the day to day business, then suddenly a player almost knocks straight into him.

relaxed

Coulibaly looks like he just had a puff of ganja, sleepy eyed, running in slow motion. In the first half he let the players do their thing without intervening much, pushing and pulling were allowed, kicking wasn't.
He seemed sharper in the second half, Coulibaly started the second half with two yellows and another one a few minutes later.
Nothing controversial happened in this match, so it was an easy one for the referee.

match

An easy one for the referee this match, but a disgrace to football. The fact that the match was boring was all because play was awful. A couple of 30 metres shots going wide was all it had to offer. Until a quick to and fro between two Egyptians, one of them Gedo, the sub who always scores.
