The stadium can have 50.000 spectators. Why? These matches can be held on any field of any amateur club, it would have been great. Two hundred people yelling very close to the field, elbows on the billboards.
And Angola has more of those built for this tournament. Angola most have money to burn.

Badara Diatta is on the short list for the World Cup. He let the Algerians take a free kick while running. You could argue that this is a great way to keep the game rolling, but you could also call it sloppy. And that is definitely not allowed at the World Cup finals, bad point for the ref.

When Banda scored the 3-0 his opponent tackled him really badly and should have gotten booked at least. It was a penalty too of course, but the ball was already in the goal.

An easy match for the ref, there was a hands ball in the Malawi area, probably not worth a call. The Algerians were supposed to win this, but the Hong Kong triads wanted it to end differently. Just joking: Malawi were better organized. There was even a frustrated Algerian player passing the ball to a spot he thought his winger should be, not where he was. Just to show him.
