Whatever Jose Mourinho might say, we saw an excellent refereeing performance full of experience and great decisions on pitch. Cakir correctly ignored at least 2 different penalty appeals. The first one was a handball appeal in box where the ball was coming from his body to hand which was just a hit. In the second one, Dortmund defender plays with the ball before Kaka can reach. When he understood this, he let himself to the ground easily. Thats another correct one. His foul detection was remarkable, as well
There was a disallowed goal of Real Madrid by AR2. Replays obviously shows that at least half of RM attacker's body is in front of last defender of Dortmund. Since, rule says "with parts that can be scored", position is correctly falgged as offside by Ongun which adds higher points to assessment.
In UEFA's list, there are referees with different styles. Some like Kassai, Skomina stay away from positions, ignore some fouls while Cakir is always near to play which bring stability in decisions. However, he sometimes doesnt apply advantage possibilities in midfield fouls. I cant call it as a mistake. He might think that giving an advantage for a parallel pass in midfield is less important than whistling a foul. However, football is every fast, a quick parallel pass may cause grave danger. I believe, he should apply more advantage.
