A funny situation in the 6th minute of the game when Rosetti recalled his decision to give a corner to the French after his assistent told him Henry had touched the ball with his hand. It looked rather awkward because Zidane had been ready to take the corner for quite some time when he was ordered to return the ball for a Spanish free-kick.
In the 26th minute a penalty was given to the Spanish for a clumsy challenge on Pablo Ibanez by Lilian Thuram. He stepped on the Spanish player's heels. A wave would have done the trick, as the Spanish were moving away from the box anyway. The call was correct though and it gave the Spanish an early lead as David Villa was sure to put the ball in the back of the net.
In the 83rd minute Puyol was booked for a foul on Henry and the French scored from the subsequent free-kick. Henry should have been booked for play-acting instead. He held his hands to his face as if he'd beeen struck there. As far as I could see, what actually happened was: Puyol rushed towards Henry and Henry pushed Puyol out of the way when he came too close.
