You could safely assume that everyone in Amsterdam saw this match. Afterwards a lot of people took to the streets, and proceeded (while yelling at Italian restaurants) towards the Leidseplein, not that there was anything there but it's a tradition. The ones that made it were mostly drunk and a nasty situation followed with people vandalizing tram shelters and police hitting on people who couldn't run fast enough. Jack and Archie and I had to hide for an hour in a Chinese restaurant. I'll never do that again, but I don't have to worry: a Dutch team will probably never again win the Champions League.
