Mistakes by the two linesmen, both wrongly raising their flags, both against Manchester, assistant nr 1 in the first half and nr 2 in the second, the latter a crucial mistake because Giggs' goal was disallowed because of it. I didn't like his style of whistling for very few fouls, he was very patient with the game and should have been more present. He didn't impose the necessary discipline on the players. Leaving aside Ronaldo and the assistants' mistakes, the refereeing was even good at times, but I didn't like his style. He left many (in my opinion clear) fouls unpunished.
