In the first quarter Real countered with their individually skills. Although Real was so much better, for their first goal they needed an easilyy received free kick. Then the game seemed to be over.

Maybe, the not so very correctly given free kick that lead to Real's first goal was reason for Atkinson to give an incorrect penalty to Zurich. The Madrid billionaires lost their temper when Zurich was pressing for a third goal to equalize. All six bookings to Real seemed justified to me, Kaka even could have received his second yellow... Great to have a referee who is not impressed by Real's stars. And for football supporters it's great to watch a Madrid team that can loose...

Still Atkinson decisions were not always steady. What was wrong once, was OK the next time... There was also one big wrong off side decision. In general Atkinson was not consistent enough.
