de Bleeckere had it really easy in this match. No big decisions to make, not a word said in anger. He officiated in a low-key manner and only got involved in the match when necessary. His assistants were pretty good as well.

I am struggling to remember if there was a single incorrect decision, or even a debatable one, in the whole match right down to the throw ins. de Bleeckere's fitness and positioning were excellent. His manner with the players was outstanding. His sheer accuracy, even on the small decisions, was impressive. An all round solid performance by the referee
