Different

Kircher

Is he an angry man from Germany or is it the style of all German referees? It is definitely part of the style. Kircher with his body-language shows who is the boss, he doesn't allow complains about his decisions and he absolutely controls events on the field and around them. Kircher tonight showed excellent refereeing with minor mistakes in very difficult conditions. One part of the field was almost dark and rain fell during the wholel match and made conditions even worse. But Knut with his assistants had no problems in this match. He could show one or two more cards but nothing important. Only remark on his performance tonight is the throw-in. Many players take it incorrectly because one foot is not on the ground. In the first match between these clubs Nikolay Ivanov noticed it and a few times gave the throw-in to the other team, but Kircher did not. Not a big mistake but a kind of mistake that happens in almost every match.

Match

Dinamo had four goals on their side and this match should have been a holiday in Scotland, but they had to bow to the Scottish way of run-and-gun football, and if Hearts had more luck - two time the goalpost saved Dinamo, they would have played on in the Europa League.
