angry

The fans were angry, but had no reason to, Ceferin was fine. He may have been a little for the big team, maybe unconsciously, awarding free kicks in close-to-the-box situations for HSV and not for NEC. But overall he was right most of the time and wrong just a couple of times..

penalty

Koenders, a NEC defender made a grave mistake (comically so ) and had to run after Olic towards the NEC goal. He pulled the Croat's shirt for a second, realized how stupid that was and let him go. Olic felt the pull, had to think for a second, then dived. Ceferin waved it off, I like that. Olic could have scored, but wanted to use a trick in stead.

pffff

It's not easy to watch a whole game of this kind of football. Teams like NEC get drained of players every year. Every player who can pass the ball to a team mate gets sold to a bigger team, so in February they're stuck with unknown Africans a couple of Scandinavians and older guys who didn't make it. But HSV were not much better. These players earn 6, maybe even 7 figures a year. Not one of them was really good. Still, the fans don't need to throw coins at them, they've got money enough.
