Lopes didn´t book properly.. two or three yellows that he could have avoided, and also more than five actions that should have deserved bookings but the referee did nothing or just whistled. At the end of the match, Nacional GK pretended he had been hit by a River attacker... Instead of warning him, Lopes stopped the actions and warned... the attacker. But just a few second laters, he booked the goalkeeper..........................

Not red

Appart from that ridiculous situation, Lopes also made another big mistake. He should have shown a direct red to a Nacional player who made a very hard foul against Buonanotte. Lopes just showed a yellow card.

Strawberry

River was better but couldn´t score until the very end. Fabbiani used his hand in order to control the ball, and kicked, it bounced off the goalie and after that Buonanotte took it and scored. He was off-side. Neither Lopes nor the assistant saw the handball or the off-side... The strawberry that Lopes´ cake was missing.
