is not the world's best referee, there were too many little things going on. An angry player who demanded a corner shot, a discussion about a foul, you could see the chaos happen in a match between two teams full of hotheads. But that wasn't the case here: this was a match between two mediocre teams with a mediocre referee.

For years the PSV forwards have been too light. Little friendly guys, Well bred. OK in matches against local teams with names like Go Ahead Eagles (great name, in there with Positive Vibes from the Virgin Islands and Joe Public from Trinidad) but crap in international matches. All they do is fall a lot, run into some defender twice as big or - and that happened a couple of times in the first half - kick the ball as high as possible when alone in front of the goal. Afraid to score. Lucky for them they have one big ugly forward.
