Fellaini can't do anything right, whatever happened the referee will decide against him. Fellaini gets angry at the referee and the referee will start hating him. Ovrebo, not the most handsome of referees either, fell in the Fellaini trap too and even canceled a legitimate goal by him for off-side. And that was Ovrebo's only fault. He should have overruled his assistant who called every time he wasn't sure.
Ovrebo, who replaced Lubos Michel for this match, had to stop play many times, the players were nervous and fouled a lot. Ovrebo was, as always a little sloppy.

The down side of having a good team and being the current number one in the world is that you make the other teams play better too. Belgium scored first and and could have scored more (and did). Sure Spain was better, has better players, but what would have happened if Belgium had played with their best players?
