Not the easiest player to deal with, Aufhauser. He got Henry's elbow in his face, an honour for a player like him, but Aufhauser fell and stayed on the ground for a while holding his chin as if it was broken. Claus Bo Larsen was needed elsewhere, but as soon as he got the time he booked the Austrian. Huh?
The audience didn't agree and I had to replay it a couple of times. Larsen stood right behind it and saw how Aufhauser grabbed Henry's arm (the veteran Frenchman was much faster) and all Henry did was push the Austrian's arm away.
And again Larsen stood right behind it when Mexes used a judo trick on an Austrian in the penalty box.
Austria has hit-their-own-goal-posts kind of defenders and made goals using French arms and legs. The French had no answer to this primitive style. It's no fun watching this kind of team, but it is fun to see the underdog win.
