But getting back to the match I saw that it was starting to get better. Zenit was getting better and Zenit kept up the good play until the second half, when Manchester took over. More or less. Manchester was never really going for it, never taking it seriously. Scoles certainly wasn't, he scored, a nice lob with his hands. Scholes got booked for the second time and looked like he couldn't care less.
Claus Bo Larsen wasn't all there either. He made no mistakes but he seemed a bit too lenient. He could have sent off Tevez for a straight legged kick, he could have stopped play some more, mind you: only once or twice, but maybe this wasn't the match for it. A not so very serious match.
