The game started slowly. Nothing much happened. In the first half both teams seemed to behave themselves quite well. For Rosetti there was not much to do. He only needed to show one yellow card to Karagounis.
The second half was more interesting to watch. Liberopolis got booked for complaining against the referee. A stupid action from a professional player, but a correct booking according to the UEFA rules. More referees should act like Rosetti (de Bleeckere?); players should not try to influence the referee, but concentrate on their play. I was not sure about the first yellow card for the Russian player though... In the last ten minutes there were a couple of moments worthy of a card...
Until the end of the match the Russians were the only team attacking, they deserved this win. It makes you wonder how Greece could have become European champions four years ago.
Since chances for the Italian team to reach the next round are small, Rosetti's candidacy for the final is becoming more likely.
