Later, when it had stopped raining and the water started disappearing miraculously, Michel should have been a little more lenient and it became clear he whistled a little too often (and then did not book a player he should have). This happened quite often: a player on his way to the ball with an opponent right behind him would suddenly stop. The player behind him of course can't do anything but bump into him. To Lubos Michel everytime this would be a foul. That makes sense on a muddy field, but not always everywhere.
