Brazil 1 - 0 Croatia

Impeccable performance

Auto-pilot

Croatia played very well and quite skillfully. They were unlucky not to score. This may have been a question of nerves, having to play the dreaded Brazilians. Most of their shots on goal were directed straight at the Brazilian keeper, giving him no trouble at all. The Brazilians didn't really live up to the expectations. There were inspired moments by Ronaldinho and Kaka's goal was a beauty, but they looked to be playing on auto-pilot at times. Especially Ronaldo, who seemed completely disinterested and a shadow of his former self. He was eventually substituted.
