There were many minor mistakes, which is a bit unusual when Larrionda is the referee. This night in Santos he was permissive, and left more than a pair of fouls without whistling. As this was a quarterfinal, both teams tried to do their best and we had some hard actions; Larrionda only showed a pair of yellows, but this wasn´t enough. Twice, Santos complained asking for penalties, and both times Larrionda said just "go on, nothing happened". In the second situation the referee was undoubtly right, but in the first one he could have given the penalty and nobody would have cried about it.

Santos was the team that wanted to win, and they won. But the 1-0 wasn´t enough and America will be in semi-finals, after the 2-0 in Mexico.
