The most important decision by Pezzotta was showing the red to Audax defender Sebastian Rocco. It wasn´t a quiet night for Rocco: his mission was to keep Adriano under his control. And he was succeeding, but he had already seen the yellow when he pushed and knocked down Adriano, so the referee booked him again with another yellow. No discussion.
It must be a bit disappointing for the referees when the players try to cheat, especially when they don´t need to do it because they are, technically, good players. (In fact it is disappointing for the fans). That´s what happened with Brazilian Eder Luis, who must have thought he was still on vacation and jumped as if he was in some swimming pool. But that was grass and Pezzotta saw him, so he was correctly booked.
There were some little mistakes, especially at the beginning of the match. Pezzotta didn´t look very concentrated then, but later he controlled almost everything.
