Helsingborg started very aggressively, neither PSV nor Szabo knew what to do about it. Szabo allowed almost everything, was far too lenient and did not see Larsson (still a great player) touch the ball with his hands in the PSV box. Not stopping players from committing fouls always leads to irritations and players looking for revenge, which is what happened for a while..

In the second half Szabo and PSV and Helsingborg were a lot better. Szabo did see the fouls and acted accordingly, PSV finally scored (remember this was the number one from Holland against the number 6 or so from Sweden) and the Helsingborg players behaved themelves. Except Larsson (again) who stood on PSV sider Alcides' legs for which he should have been booked.
