Superb control of potential very difficult match. He booked twice in first 25 minutes and keep match under control as opposed some other refrees who were in Scotland this season. Other three more yellow card were shown for hard challenge. He had only one mistake in game when he didn't award foul for Lyon on the edge of the box after foul on Juninho. At extram-time Michel showed red card for Darcheville who had excellent chance for scoring. Assistants were also good.

Lyon played much better and Rangers tryed to play defensive because they nedded one point to go into next round. Lyon scored in 16 minute and had many more opportunity for score and Rangers try with long balls but that was unseccessful tactic. Lyon scored two more before end and deserved go knockout round.
