A few words on Laurent Duhamel

It took Laurent Duhamel, who has shaved his head since the last time I saw him, 45 minutes to show a yellow card. Until then similar fouls were only free kicks, but then Duhamel had enough. The Portuguese players were a bit irritated and Duhamel answered protests by yelling at them to keep quiet. Yelling at someone to keep quiet never works, every parent can tell you so.
So he likes to keep the cards in his pocket, that worked well in this match, then again he fell for Portuguese dives a couple of times.

This was fun: Schalke player Asamoah pushed Fucile in the face with his elbow. Fucile, like a little kid, tried to get the referee's attention. Duhamel didn't see it so Fucile cried out in pain and fell over backwards. The dying swan. No one took it seriously. Sure Asamoah was wrong, sure, Duhamel or his assitant should have noticed it, but it wasn't much anyway.

Lisandro bit the ball. I think it's time for UEFA to appoint a commission to search for possibilities to ban this kind of behaviour.
