Hauge is a good referee. He is cool, has the right moves, he lets the players play on, is not childish, and gets the feel of the match. This was a fair one, hardly any bad fouls, only three bookings, no protests or bad feelings. A good ref but...

Maybe Hauge - part of the elite, veteran of a CL final - is not a good ref at all, he only looks the part. He seems a bit too relaxed, as if he isn't all there. How could he decide to not award a penalty, to not book Stojkkovic, to wave it off? How could he not see the same Dembele making a two legged sliding? And he allowed the Belgian gaol keeper (Stijn Stijnen, what a name) to take his time with a free kick in extra time, I counted 31 seconds.

After 6 losses in a row, the Belgians finally played for what they are worth. Serbia had no chance at all against very talented players like Dembele, Vermaelen, Mirallas and Defour.
