Penalty

After a cross into the penalty area, the referee pointed to the penalty spot but the replays showed that it was definitely the softest penalty of the tournament. The referee should have just played on without calling the penalty because there was little to no contact between the two players in the penalty area.

Red Card

The Palestinian player received 2 yellow cards in the same match which resulted in him being sent off by the referee. Looking at both yellow cards, the referee has go it absolutely spot on.

Overall

I thought that it was not that difficult of a match but the referee did not do a great job. The biggest call of the games was the penalty kick and he got it wrong!
