Control, Fitness, and positioning

Ben Williams did a good job during the match. His control of the game was perfect since both teams have a negative history between them. His fitness and positioning were brilliant as he was always close to the play.

Lack of consistency

Williams showed a yellow card to an Iranian player for kicking the ball into the net after a offside call but when another Iranian player did the same thing again in the second half, he did nothing about it which showed a lack of consistency.

Dissent

Ben Williams needs to improve the way he deals with players as players from both teams kept talking to him in a negative manner. At times, some players kept pointing to their own eyes and kept telling him to watch, although Ben Williams was talking to the players at the time, he was always getting interrupted.
