After the Persepolis goalkeeper dived and caught the ball, the striker from Al-Gharafa, came in late with studs up and got him in the chest, but Al-Hilali just gave a foul and NO CARD which really surprised me!!!
When Kazemian went down in the penalty box, the first thing I thought of was a penalty because as he was taking a shot on goal, the defnder came in with both feet from behind and made a good chunk of contact, but Al-Hilali gave a goal kick!
Al-Hilali waved off two challenges in the penalty area (One for each team), and he was right about both of them, but it is really unfortunate that he got two other big calls wrong.
I actually like this referee, because he is really fair and never takes anyone's side on purpose. My personal opinion is that he missed the penalty and the red card because the match was 2-0 and 3-0 at the time of each incident. I know we all hate it when referees officiate based on the result, but any referee would tell you it is kind of a common sense.
