Correct call for me and no dissent from the Iranians either. They knew that the goalkeeper had caught the strikers ankle.

A few fouls missed

He did miss 2 fouls in the later part of the match which angered the Iranians. In my opinion, one of those fouls granted a yellow card as well.

Maybe more cards

I thought he could have given probably 3 more yellow cards, but he decided to just talk to the players which I think wasn't the best choice for those late challenges.

Match

The match itself was okay. The first half was way better than the second, but at the end, some poor goalkeeping did cost Iran 2 points. Nevertheless, congrats to both teams for qualifying for next round.

Assisstants

His Assisstants were good as well. On the second goal scored by Qatar, there was a shout for offside, but the first assisstant referee kept his flag down, and rightly so.
