Rosetti was supported by two extra pairs of eyes. These flagwaveing linesmen did not allways contribute to correct decissions. Sometimes they were in doubt and they started to become insecure. Luckily the match wasn't affected by these dubious calls. Rosetti propably corrected his linesman halftime, because in the second half all these insecure decisions vanished.
In general the match was not of high appeal. Ajax missed about a dozen chances, Thun only missed three. You wonder how happy the Ajax supporters couild have left the stadium... They should be happy though about this referee, he did not do much wrong. Allthough both teams were contributing to his welldoing. Both teams were willing to play and both teams were playing quite fair. And that's rare in a big commercially polluted championship.
We should also notice that great referees do not need bookings to control the game. Rosetti brought calmness to the game and managed without bookings. He is growing and could become a great referee.
