At first, referee Ali tried to be invisible, not whistling small ones. It worked for some time. Then, players became aggressive, and fouls have dominated the game. The 2-goal scorer Beshir could have been dismissed for 2nd YC in early minutes. But, ref. opted to keep him in game. As far as I have seen, there is a tolerance of refs for such issues in this tournament. There was no match influencing mistake, but he was a little bit inconsistent in foul detection. It is quite good to see referees of whom you havent heard before. But, let me say, he showed notthing new and valueable to me.

Penalty

Sudan defender has obviously made a timing mistake, and caused penalty which was totally correct. For disiplinary measures, I had some problems to understand YCs he showed. 2 of them were as a result of bileteral diaologs with ref.
