Whistling after a goal, good communication with players, he is always an authority and does not like when players questioned that. But, his probably most obvious weakness, which can and should be improved, is the foul detection. He missed some clear fouls but the 2 given penalties make me ignore that a bit.

Penalties

Two penalties, both times for PSG, both times correct, but not obvious. The first one was for handball, the Spanish defender's handball was clear and an infringement, but where did it happen? He stood outside the box but he bent down a bit and therefore his hand and the handball was just on the line, the line counts to the box, therefore, the assistant referee Zunic who has certainly signalized that was right when advising his chief that it is a penalty which was however not converted. The second penalty was correct as well, a stupid foul from behind, there was however no need for the French to fall in this spectacular way, but this does not alter the clear statement that the second penalty was correct, too.
