In first half there were many fouls and Moen had to show immediatly the first cards, after only 3 min. It was correct. The second yellow, given during the 22 minute, it could have been a straight red, however it's a borderline situation. Lavezzi was ready to run twards the penalty area, however he was far and maybe for this reason Moen gave only yellow. I can agree with his interpretation, but at the same time a red would not be wrong. Third yellow was ok. Furthermore, he missed a clear yellow card for Marco Ruben at 36'.
In second half, Napoli had to force more, due to City win against Bayern. Napoli coach, Mazzarrii had a bad reaction against Nilmar, when the Villarreal player was taking the ball near his bench, Moen had to send off him, correct. In the last minutes, after Napoli goals, there were big problems for the young referee. Many fouls and a blow in the penalty area against Aronica. He wasn't helped by additional assistant. Furthermore, he booked Napoli player Campagnaro after a foul from Aronica. I haven't understood if it was for complaints, or he gave it to a wrong player.
He did well in fouls detection, but was often too lenient and without correct cards. He is young, so he will find surely the time to improve himself. This isn't a strict criticism, but it's too easy if you just smile when everything it's ok. You have also to show your presence on the field.
In my opinion, it's too early for the young Moen. He really needs time.
