Penalty expectations

There were too many critical calls by Gummieny throughout the match. Besiktas has expected a penalty in Min 29. Quaresma had the shot and ball hit the arm of MAC defender in the box. Yes, his arms weren't clinging with his body. But, the distance between players was too short to decide it was a deliberate prevention by defender. I agreed with him not to whistle that penalty. But, that may be under discussion. There was another appeal that he had correctly ignored to call as a penalty.

But...

I really didnt understand why he hasnt showed his 2nd YC to Pavicevic in Min68. He obviously made a huge mistake there. Player has deliberately cut-off quick counter-attack of Besiktas which was 2 v 4. He also disallowed a besiktas goal in late minutes with the help of AAR. I am pretty sure that he would never whistle it as a midfield duel. But, whenever issue occurs in box, referees are much more sensitive. But, as an overall assessment. I didnt like his foul detection.
