His last match has been at Wembley, the friendly match between England and Spain with 80.000 people watching the game. Frank gave some very good advantages rules and showed his cards as if it was a normal competition match. It´s a pity that his assistant referees were not at the level we all wanted, even Frank overruled his assistant referee, an uncommon thing nowadays, but it showed us the self-confidence Frank has.

Match

During the game he did not use his whistle often and he did not pay attention to all the dives and fouls the players wanted him to give.

UEFA should be ashamed, at least one playoff match should have been given to him as his last match, it was thanks to England that he was assigned to this one. He also goes away without having refereed a mayor tournament final, I´m sure Busacca´s or Webb´s could have been Frank´s without doubt.
