Carballo failed by Borbalan blindness

Borbalan was a AAR2 and in the first 15 min (along with AR2 Guadamuro) they missed a clear penalty for Benfica. The Basel defender did a great save...but he isn't the GK and for that reason should be a penalty. Was the biggest mistake during all match, but Carballo isn't the one to take the blame alone.

Carballo and cards

Was ok punishing dangerous play. However he showed at least 2 YC for complains. I don't know what the players said to him but Carballo as a military style. No smile, no conversation, always ready to "kill you" if you go against the rules. I am not the first and not the last to criticize is way. He needs to adapt more to the reality of the match.

The rest of the job

some minor errors with fouls, he was good in advantage. We need to give a word for his good shape and movements one the field.
