was very fluid with a lot of offensive play by both teams. Rasmussen didn't had much to do. Just two situations to mention. In the goal celebrations, at least two AC Milan players show the t-shirt with a message to Cassano (italian player who suffered a stroke days ago), that should be cautioned with a YC but the ref's team didn't catch it. And a wrong off-side call against AC Milan at 24'.
Wrong decision. IMO that isn't a penalty but a simulation by BATE player. There is contact, but that is the obvious contact in every duel for the ball. There is no foul or intention to foul by the Milan defender.
Rasmussen as a average 2.15 YC per match. Today he showed 2. However to my mind he missed evident situation that he missed the proper caution. At 63'; 65'; 73' and 90'. The situation at 73' and 90' are evident YC situation, in this case both against BATE
He tried his best. Tried to let the game flow, but always with some control. In disciplinary measures he was just reasonable, in technical decisions was good, apart the penalty. Just one word for some weird movements and positions he assumed during the match. Rasmussen isn't equivalent to Larsen or Nielsen but he should get another chance to show what he can do.
