I don't think I ever saw this before: a referee standing in the way three times and at important moments too. He has to work on that.
Lyrics from some 90s rap song came to mind during the match:
This is how it should be done
My style is identical to none
When Austria players started stalling, Tudor actually did something about it. He allowed free kicks while an opponent was too close to the ball on purpose and he had one more fantastic little trick: Barazite, pretending he didn't know he was going to be substituted, was sent away over the nearest line. Off he went, no slow motion walking all the way to the dug out, but straight over the goal line.
I don't think I ever saw that before either.
As we did see before: Dan Tudor and his assistants are a team. He relies on his assistants on the touch line. But at least once you could see his doubts about a call. A cal he couldn't or didn't want to overrule.
Meagre. Az were the better team and playing at home, still it took them 80 minutes to finally do something about the 0-2.
