His overall perfomance can be divided into the first half and second half. In the first half, he was very consistent and showed too early bookings to Liège which were ok. His assistant referees also solved close offside decisions very well. His foul detection and basics were good. However, there was a second half...he totally lost the right view in midfield duels, he made strange decisions and one could not detect a clear line in the evaluation of smaller fouls, sometimes lenient, sometimes not, sometimes a free kick for the same which was not cautioned before and so on. His assistant referees made the majority of the offside decisions wrong in the 2nd half. The match which was a good 0-0 with Hannover which were slightly better actually deserved more than just two minutes of added time as Liège seemed to be quite content with the goalless draw ( they were wasting time for about 30 minutes ).

0-0s

Perhaps this is only a subjective impression but why are there so many goalless draws at the moment?! I watched 187 minutes football yesterday and what was the result? 8 goal attempts on target, no goals, 8 yellows and an unbelievable low qualifty football.
