Moen

This is first time I saw Moen in action. With 32 years he is the youngest elite referee and for the first time he left me in consideration. His foul detection in English style, with a lot of contacts and hard duels allowed, functioned well even when he missed some fouls and didn't even whistle the first 12 minutes. Never in this match did this doctor of medicin look impressed with the Real stars or the hot atmosphere in the Dinamo stadium. And that is laudable.
But his disciplinary measures need to be improved. A good preparation for the match could solve many problems for instance one Dinamo player, Leko, always plays rough. In this match he again lived up to that reputation. The same goes for Marcelo. Moen didn't look prepared. For me a referee should show caution as early as possible for this kind of player, and Moen didn't do that. Leko deserved a yellow after his second foul from behind but Moen waited till his third bad foul on Ronaldo, which could have been his second booking. Maybe Ronaldo's reputation is not good, he always cries and dives a lot but a referee should feel the difference between real and fake.
Marcelo is also one of the players with whom referees have a problem because of their constantly unsporting behavior. So in first half he dived in the Dinamo box. Moen saw that, it was not a penalty but he missed showing a card to Marcelo. In the second half he didn't make that mistake when he showed Marcelo his second yellow for diving. Marcelo probably thought that this time he could avoid a booking. If Moen had showed him yellow in the first half, Marcelo would have ended his part in the match few minutes earlier because he committed a dangerous foul which should have been his second yellow.
Moen looks physically well prepared but in some moments that was his handicap, because he was too close to the action and the ball hit him twice. Also in his purple shirt and Dinama in dark blue he looked like a Dinamo player.

Match

After 12 years Dinamo played a CL match but even great atmosphere in the stadium and some good chances, Real is another galaxy, just one C. Ronaldo leg is mor valuable then the wholel Dinamo squad and Real deservedly won this match.
