Uefa may have ordered all officials to be tough, because already in the fourth minute Kircher decided to give a booking to a Portuguese player for a minor foul. Let's hope UEFA will send the Portuguese Football Association a strong penalty afterwards as well. Frustrated about their own play Veloso torpedoed Drenthe. Kircher should have sent him off also.
