Not a category 1 match, same goes for the ref

Alexei had an easy night...

Although it was a game with a swift pace at times, Alexei Nikolaev did not really have a lot to do. He looked quite good in terms of game management in the first half, but I found him weaker towards the end. The second yellow was correct, but the yellow on Gomes remained questionable. Also, he didn't come across as a great authority to my mind. On the whole, alright on the night, but not ready yet for the elite level as yet.
