Good perfomance, but strange approach

...his calls were - during the whole 120 minutes - good. He surely had some mistakes, but they were very small and his card policy was very good. His assistant referees had no bigger problems either. However, some words on his approach: his movement was very hectical, he was always in motion, that need not be something bad, but I do not like referees jumping through the pitch for 120 minutes..he was close to the players and knew how to talk to them, that was good. But sorry, no reason for an 8..

As FIFA's appointments were a bit surprising with regard to the last 4 matches and some contingencies, one should keep him in mind...I do not think he would deserve a semi-final, but one never knows...
